Frequently Asked Questions

Before you order

Will they help with my condition?

Max is built for flat feet, plantar fasciitis, high arches, bunions, and overpronation.

It also helps with heel, knee, and back pain that comes with them.

Not sure? Take the 60-second insole quiz.

Are they too firm for me?

Max is firmer than most arch support insoles, on purpose.

A softer arch flattens under your weight and stops doing its job.

Already tried arch support insoles and found them too high or too firm? Try our Light Arch Support Insoles instead.

Will they fit my shoes?

Yes. They work in most sneakers, work boots, walking shoes and casual shoes.

Remove the flat insert your shoe came with and trim the toe if needed.

Trimmed insoles are still covered by the guarantee.

Do I have to trim the insoles?

Usually yes, a little at the toe.

Shoe sizes vary between brands, so each insole size covers a range. Use your current insole as a guide and trim along its outline.

Trim less than you think you need, then test the fit. You can always cut a bit more, never less.

Only trim the toe. Trimmed insoles are still covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee.

If I trim the insoles, can I still return them?

Yes. Trimming does not affect the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Email support@orthoflexx.com with your order number within 30 days, and we'll refund you.

How do I choose the right size?

Choose your usual shoe size.

Between sizes? Go up one and trim the front.

Still unsure? Email support@orthoflexx.com with your shoe brand and size.

Can I get the bundle discount with two different sizes?

Yes. Add each size to your cart separately.

The bundle discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Do you offer wide insoles?

Not yet. Max comes in a standard width, not a wide fit.

Wide options are coming soon.

If they feel too narrow after a few days, the 30-day money-back guarantee covers you.

Do you offer kids' sizes?

Not at the moment.

Adult sizes only. Check the size chart on the product page.

What are the insoles made of?

PU (polyurethane) and TPR (thermoplastic rubber).

The top cover, forefoot and heel padding are soft.

The arch support base is firm. It holds up to 330 lbs / 150 kg without collapsing.

What's included?

One pair of OrthoFlexx® insoles per pair ordered.

A free pair of Achilles Cushions, added to your cart automatically.

Two free guides by email: the eBook "How poor foot support affects your entire body" and the 7-day exercise video for plantar fascia relief.

The first few weeks

Is there a break-in period?

Yes. The first day or two can feel high or a little sore.

Start with 2 to 3 hours a day and build up.

Most people feel clear relief within 1 to 3 weeks.

What if they hurt after a few days?

Mild soreness in the first few days is normal. Your feet are adjusting.

And some feet simply don't adapt to our insoles. If the pain doesn't settle, email us. We'll suggest a better fit from our range or issue a refund. You have 30 days.

How do I trim and fit them?

1. Take the flat insert out of your shoe. Most are removable.

2. Put the OrthoFlexx® insole in, fabric side up, and check the fit.

3. If it is too long, lay your old insert on top with the heels lined up and use it as a cutting guide.

4. Trim a little at a time. The insole should lie flat, with no bunching at the toes.

Cut less than you think. You can always trim more, you can't put it back.

Can I move them between different shoes?

Yes. Many customers switch them between work boots, sneakers and walking shoes.

A lot of people end up buying a set for each of their most-used pairs so they never have to swap.

Shipping, guarantee and payment

Where do you ship from?

US orders ship from our US warehouse, so delivery is fast.

International orders ship from the warehouse closest to you.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are dispatched within 24 business hours with full tracking.

Most US, UK, CA and AU customers receive their package within 3 to 10 days.

Shipping is free on every order.

What if they don't help my pain?

30-day money-back guarantee.

Email support@orthoflexx.com with your order number, and we'll refund you.

Can I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at checkout for US customers.

Care and durability

How long do they last?

The firm arch platform is built to stay lifted under full body weight. Many customers get a couple of years out of a pair.

Lifespan varies with weight, shoes and hours on your feet. Replace them when the arch starts to flatten or the top cover wears through.

How do I clean them?

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat.

Don't soak or machine-wash them, as that can affect the supportive structure.

What about odour?

Sprinkle baking soda on the insoles overnight and brush it off in the morning.

Or wipe them with a diluted vinegar solution and air dry.
