Instructions and Adaptation Guide

How to fit your new insoles and what to expect in the first weeks.

Fit your insoles

  1. Take out the old insole

Step 1: Take out the old insole

Most shoe insoles lift out. Keep it, you'll use it as a cutting guide.

  2. Put the OrthoFlexx® insole in

Step 2: Put the OrthoFlexx® insole in

Fabric side up. Push the heel all the way back and check the length at the toes.

  3. Compare with the old insole

Step 3: Compare with the old insole

Lay the old insole on top, heels lined up.

Where it sticks out at the toes is where you need to trim.

  4. Trim the toe and check the fit

Step 4: Trim the toe and check the fit

Cut along the outline of the old insole. Only trim the toe.

Trim less than you think you need, then test the fit. You can always cut a bit more, never less.

It should lie flat, heel in the cup, no bunching at the toes. Trimmed insoles are still covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee.

  5. Add the Achilles Cushions

Step 5: Add the Achilles Cushions

Peel off the backing and stick one to the inside of each heel.

They stop rubbing and blisters at the back of the heel.

Adapt to your insoles

Your feet are used to flat shoes. Firm arch support takes a few days to get used to, more so if it's your first time.

  1. Step 1: Start slow

Wear them 2 to 3 hours on day one. Add an hour or two each day.

  2. Step 2: Expect some soreness

The first day or two can feel high or a little sore. Your feet are adjusting. It settles within a few days.

  3. Step 3: Check the fit

The insole must lie flat, with the heel in the cup and no bunching at the toes. A bad fit is the most common reason for discomfort.

  4. Step 4: Listen to your feet

Most people feel clear relief within 1 to 3 weeks.
